Xspect Remanufactured CMMs
Process: The
Xspect Solutions remanufacturing process entails a complete CMM frame rebuild, controller
and software replacement and Renishaw Probing System update. Mechanical spares for
all CMM frames remain available. Most independent from the OEM.
Bearing Ways: Inspected
for finish, wear and pitting. Filled, lapped or reground as necessary.
Mechanical & Pneumatic Assemblies: Inspected
and parts replaced as necessary. Air pipes replaced as necessary.
Work Table: The
CMM Table flatness is not overcritical to CMM performance. Table is cosmetically finished
to remove surface scratches. Steel tables are scraped, Granite Tables are filled &
lapped.
Air Bearings
Cleaned, Inspected and replaced as necessary.
Individual bearing lifts checked.

Cable Harnesses: Inspected,
tested and replaced as necessary. Multi-wire cabling for Renishaw PH10 fitted as necessary.

The entire CMM machine is cleaned and
repainted in original colors to provide like New appearance.
Xspect Solutions warranties its remanufactured CMM products for 6 months as standard.
The remanufactured CMM is laser calibrated
and error compensated to meet original factory specifications prior to shipment. Turnkey
installation and training in the CMM software complete the turnkey with ongoing applications
support to ensure project success.
The cost of an Xspect turnkey CMM Remanufacture is less than 50% of a new CMM. The
larger the CMM the more the savings....
